Apps Australia – ANZ App Development

We are coming to an existence in Australia that sees us catch up to the rest of the world with mobile and online technologies very quickly. To give you an example of how mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets are front runners in today’s marketing mix; ANZ will spend up to $1.5 billion on new mobile banking apps which includes upgrading branches for new customers.

ANZ has announced a 5 year plan that it’s coined Banking On Australia, this will see ANZ spruce up its branches, put in video conferencing facilities in regional part of the country and launch new mobile apps for consumers and businesses for various devices.

This is very exciting news for app developers in Australia who are now responsible for developing some of the most successful apps worldwide with developers in every capital city. ANZ’s commitment to $1.5 billion of funds set aside for investment in the bank's business will be spent on the program. Showing people that if you didn’t think mobile was the way of the future today’s announcement will squash any doubters.

As a side line it comes as no surprise ANZ weren’t prepared to comment on their plans to cut rates following the RBA’s decrease on the cash rate on Tuesday.

Today’s announcement is the start of Australia’s next gold rush and that happens to be in mobile technology and devices
